How do I still have followers? I haven’t been on here in two months!
So in Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia right now there are disastrous floods and thousands have lost their homes and many have died. Although this is the biggest flood Europe has seen in the past 120 years, news broadcasters such as CNN or NBC are not mentioning anything about it!!!!! All my family lives there and I’m really worried so if you could all pass on the word so that more people are aware of this horrible event, that would be much appreciate.
So, I know almost noone knows about this problem (and i’m sorry if i offend you with this, its good if you know) but there’s a huge problem in Croatia, a country across Italy and shares the border with Slovenia and Hungary and long story short, there’s a case of a huge flood in the eastern parts of it and it isn’t only here, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia where the situation is much, much worse. It has been raining a lot for the last two weeks, and its been raining 24/7. And the level of the water from the rivers (river actually, but its a big ass river) had been really increased cause of it. The situation you see on the pics is just a small part of whats happening. Around a dozen of places (small towns and such) have already been evacuated and its not far from a town I live in. a lot of people have lost their homes, there’s really no good sight in the future for a complete recovery since the water is over the rooftops (as seen on the pictures above), there are people on the rooftops, we have the goddamn military working and helping the people to get on safe, a lot of places that weren’t hit by the flood are taking in the people that lost their homes, we have the red cross doing their work etc. A huge city nearby is also really endangered by getting completely splashed by the water. This is a really dangerous situation, I know its probably not going to gain as much attention as the other situations, like the ukrainian revolution situation or the hurricane katrina and stuff, but it already has taken one life and two people have been gone missing, and honestly, i hope none more go missing or dying. people are, as far as i know, really helpful and we have a lot of them going on, helping the people who have been hit by the flood. I know you probably can’t help physically, if i find the number which you can call and donate, it would be more than wonderful, I’d love you to death, but honestly, even spreading the word is perfect enough. So please, reblog, spread the word and maybe it gets to someone that can help us quickly get back on track, i am really sorry for taking up some of your time, but this is really important, maybe not for you, but for me and the rest of the tumblr community that lives in these parts is, and i really really hope you’re gonna be, at least, human enough and spread the word, im begging you, this is really something horrible and i hope it never happens to any of you, and its a really tough time for us so please, pray for us. at least that. pray for Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I’ll keep you updated guys, as far as i know for now, a lot of cattle had been drowned and i’m really scared for everyone, please just.. spread the word and pray. Thank you so much and stay safe .xx
We’ve seen a lot of those photos of people leading their significant others by the hand around the world, and thought they were beautiful. Tonight, after a difficult night and a few tears, I led my significant other to bed for the night to finally sleep, and she captured it in the same way.
We might not be going on an adventure around the world right now, but I will sleep beside you every night. We will go on adventures one day.
I was on MSNBC today to talk about the importance of allowing transgender people to serve in the United States military.

A writer for the new york times interviewed a series of people who had survived jumping off the golden gate bridge. Every person she interviewed admitted that about two thirds of the way down, they realized that every seemingly meaningless problem that caused them to jump was fixable.
Every single one.
this gave me chills.
Reblogging this again because it matters. This is so important.
Please think before you do
